If you have an on-line account with us, you may also choose to close your account at any time, by contacting Lecavalier customer service department. GOVERNING LAW AND DISPUTE RESOLUTION

The present agreement, your access and use of the website, and all related matters are governed solely by the laws of Quebec, Canada and applicable Canadian federal laws. Any dispute between you and Lecavalier or any other person, arising from, connected with or relating to the website or to the present agreement or to any related matters (collectively "disputes"), must be resolved before the courts of Quebec and you are hereby irrevocably bound by the exclusive jurisdiction of these courts with respect to any and all disputes.

 
PURCHASE TERMS AND CONDITIONS:  If Lecavalier.com has your articles in stock, we will send you a shipping notice by email confirming that the articles have been shipped and are en-route to you. That notice is our acceptance of your order. Orders for which the articles are in stock are normally shipped within two business days of placing your order. Orders involving articles that are out of stock will not be shipped due to the nature of our operations (recycling). We will accordingly send you a notice cancelling this order.

If the price of any product purchased on our website is erroneous when ordered, we will provide you with the opportunity to make a new order at the correct price.  The advertisements on our website are invitations to make offers to purchase the products and services on the website, and do not obligate us to sell them. Your order, duly completed and submitted, constitutes your offer to purchase the products and services included in your order. Your order will be considered as accepted as soon as we send you a delivery notice to your email address. The delivery notice sent by email indicates that we have accepted your order and it constitutes a valid legal contract with Lecavalier.com. The total cost of your order is charged to your credit card account when the delivery notice is sent to your email address. If you want to cancel an order, you can request a cancellation by opening a session in your account and cancelling your order, or you can call 1 888-444-3344

However, it is possible that we will not receive or process your request to cancel before accepting and delivering your order, in which case your request for cancellation will not be valid. If, for whatever reason, you are not entirely satisfied with a product you have purchased, we will be happy to offer you a reimbursement or exchange, if you return the product, to one of our centers within 14 calendar days of its receipt, in its original state  (including all packaging material, accessories or manuals). For practical reasons, we accept returns at our Lecavalier certified centers also.

Your electronic receipt is required for all returns.  If a returned item is not accompanied by all original packaging material or if the item is missing its Lecavalier identification code, the return may be refused or we may deduct the amount of each missing element. Shipping charges are not refundable and an additional fee of $10 will be charged to you in the event of a return to a certified Lecavalier center. However, we will reimburse initial shipping charges if you return an article due to an error on our part or if we determine that the product is defective.

We use the information that you provide through our website, including registration information (name and email address), payment information (credit card number and expiry date) and information on the transaction. All this information must be valid, exact and up to date. You will be held entirely responsible for loss, damage and any additional costs incurred by you, us, or any other person for providing inaccurate or incomplete information, or for not updating information relative to your registration or payment.

On-line availability

On-line availability allows you to know the approximate date on which we will be able to send the product. This estimate does not include the time the product takes to get to you after having left our warehouse.

The availability that is displayed on our product pages may change while you are completing the payment process; it is at this time that our system obtains the updated inventory levels for the product you have selected.  Availablility displayed on our website is an estimate only and is subject to change.

Shipping costs estimates

Please use the Shipping Estimator tool in your Shopping Cart to calculate the costs and delivery times for each shipping option. The finalized charges will appear at the time of payment. These costs are calculated based on the product selection and your shipping address.

Delivery details

It may be the case that we have to distribute your order over many deliveries depending on the availability of each product. If your order falls into this category, we will not charge you additional fees for extra delivery, although your shipping charges will be distributed among the different bills. If you must receive one of the articles earlier, we recommend that you order it separately to avoid any further delay. No charges will be billed to your credit card before we have shipped your product.

The time allowed for delivery depends on the availability of our merchandise. It may be the case that we have to distribute your order over many deliveries depending on the expected date of arrival of each product. It is possible that your order may be late if the products arrive at our warehouse on different dates. If your order falls into this category, we will not charge you additional fees for extra delivery. You will notice nonetheless that your shipping costs will be distributed among the different bills.

Deliveries take place usually between 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m. local time. If you are not at home to accept the delivery, we will leave you a delivery notification card with further details and a pick-up location (at a Levavalier certified center). For your own security, please bring proper photo identification, when you pick up your order.

We distribute our products everywhere in Quebec and in Ontario (not elsewhere in Canada and not outside of Canada). If you would like your order to be sent to a PO box or to a rural route address, please provide a physical street address, highway number and/or an emergency phone number where you can always be reached. In this manner you will be reassured that your order will reach its destination.

To give you the best possible service, we use a variety of couriers.  We will tell you which courier company is handling your delivery when we send you your shipping confirmation email (which includes the tracking number of your order). Delivery services may vary depending on your location.

Delivery to a Lecavalier certified center:  Rather than have your articles delivered directly to your home, you may request that they be shipped to one of our Certified centers, a list of which you will find on our site.
